From the time I was a child, I have been able to hear God's voice and know He was in control of my life.  Frightened and alone at the age of five, the Lord appeared to me with an Angel on each side of Him, and in an audible voice spoke these words," I will always watch over you no matter where you go.  Do not be afraid!"  How awesome it is to know He is there all the time.  Never has God failed me or left me alone.  I am reminded of a scripture, Micah 7:8. says: " Rejoice not against me oh mine enemy for when I fall, I shall arise, and when I sit in darkness the Lord will be a light unto me!" Even when the enemy comes in like a flood, it is easy to stumble; but with God, we can get back up.  Even in darkness, oh how Jesus shines!  God is so good!  Six years ago, after the death of my daughter Ashley ,  I was devastated. Not knowing if I wanted to live or die, I could hardly breath.  But I learned in that time, God not only carried me, but was the very breath I Breathed.  He helped me through what was the darkest, loneliest time of my life.  Jesus said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you"  Hebrews 13:5.

I know God has called me to the ministry to share his word through song.  What a privilege and honor to sing and lift up the name of Jesus!  The joy of the Lord is my strenghth, in Him alone I put my trust.  My restoration is truly an unspeakable joy that is full of glory.  There is nothing like Living Life in Christ Jesus!
